Description
Atlantic Sentinels: Deluxe Convoy Target Deck System is a premium card-based expansion that replaces the selection of specific merchant ships from tables M1-M3 with physical vessel cards. It retains the original target-category procedure while increasing immersion, reducing record-keeping, and creating a clear physical record of convoy losses.
When an undetected U-boat penetrates the escort screen, the player still identifies the threatened ship category according to the original rules. Instead of making a percentile roll and reading a vessel name and tonnage from a table, the player draws from the Small Merchant, Large Merchant, or Tanker deck. The card represents a specific historical vessel and can remain in play until its fate is resolved.
The optional attack board supports the entire engagement with physical ship cards, attack markers, and damage tracking.

Greater Immersion: Each threatened ship has a name, nationality, silhouette, type, tonnage, history, and documented fate. The player protects identifiable vessels rather than anonymous table values.
Escort Command Perspective: The cards show which vessels entered the U-boat’s attack window, were attacked, damaged, separated from the convoy, or lost.
Less Record-Keeping: The system reduces percentile rolls, repeated M1-M3 table checks, and manual transcription of names and tonnage. Essential information remains visible on the cards.
Physical Convoy Loss Record: After the mission, the cards provide an immediate record of ships sunk or damaged, total tonnage lost, and the effectiveness of the convoy defense.
